Davis-Fort Moving: Your Insured Mover in St. Albert
For your added peace of mind, Davis-Fort Moving is insured for the unlikely event of damage to your items. Items will be replaced or repaired within the shortest possible time subject to the limits of the coverage described herein: All shipments are subject to the National Bill of Lading released rate for this industry unless additional coverage is declared and a premium paid. Client shipments are valued at $0.60 per pound per article. This is very basic coverage and is provided at no extra cost to you.
Added Protection
For additional protection, up to the replacement value of items to cover physical damage, clients should declare the full value of their shipment, and there would be an additional cost of $3 per $1,000 of declared value. For example, a shipment worth $20,000 divided by $1,000 times $3 equals $60. If additional protection is desired, please advise Davis-Fort Moving of the amount required. There is a minimum charge of $45 for this additional coverage.
Total value on any truck should be limited to $100,000 or less. So if there are any items of extraordinary value, please point them out to the moving representative.
